Semantic search engine for Odense Municipality

Odense Municipality has, after trying out other search engine alternatives, chosen Mindfactory DK and the semantic search engine EES for their internal document search.

Our agreement with Odense Municipality contains a delivery of a Proof Of Concept (POC) focusing especially on security management and the integration with Domino servers and Lotus Notes. After delivering and approval of the POC, we will start the full implementation on their document management systems. In this way Odense Municipality has the opportunity to test the EES functions and make a highly qualified decision concerning the full deployment of EES further on.
The main reason for choosing EES, and our solution, has been:

The full integration with Domino servers and Lotus Notes databases, together with the complians of the security model, especially concerning user authentification and rights, were crucial for Odense Municipality's choice of EES.

Price
EES is pricewise very competitive. EES was recently made RTM (Ready-To-Manufacture) in its current version, but have been used over a longer period at reference clients and has experiences increasing sale during the year.

EES is an advanced search platform and can indexing practically speaking nearly every kind of file formats. EES has a series of highly user friendly and effective tools do to use of semantic, TermNet and the possibility of process oriented search regarding the internal work flow.

Indexing speed
EES performs a fast comprehensive indexing of all data and register changes in real time, so the users are secured that new or altered documents is part of the search result.
